CHEC Services

Opportunities at CHEC

The Centre offers people the opportunity to work as a team, designing, manufacturing and marketing a range of gifts and promotional items that are made available both to local customers as well as nationally by mail-order. Whilst our target customers are individuals, small businesses and organisations that require low runs of promotional items, we have serviced the requirements of major names.

Individual contributions to the work of the Centre are wide ranging and include computer design, computer controlled embroidery, press operation, producing marketing material and general office skills including work processing, filing etc.

Whilst primarily engaged with the provision of real work experience, the Centre benefits from being able to offer people secondary opportunities of integrating with a wide range of customers both by personal contact as well as by telephone, e-mail, etc and an opportunity to experience life in the business world with its different perspective from the more protected educational environment with which they will have been accustomed.
